When Sara learns that she can access a world where anything is possible in her sleep, she never wants to be awake. Her parents see her tired and distracted, not able to focus in school, and become afraid for her. Her brother (and favorite person on earth,) Eli, is autistic, and they wonder if Sara's having a mental event.
But when she uncovers a plot to control and monetize the the dream world, Sara learns her unique ability to navigate between worlds may be more important than she thought. With the help of her novice dream-guide, she sets out to save this world, if she doesn't accidentally destroy it in the process...
Luckily she'll get some help from someone even more skilled in the dream world than she is, her brother, Eli.
Dreamland is a new animated feature about imagination and learning from those who are different.
