You can learn more about Piano Man here.

Written with the help of acclaimed writer and trans activist Oliver D. Allen, Piano Man is inspired by the true story of a jazz musician whose family found out he was transgender only after he died. As he gets closer to his dream of stardom, the risk of being exposed only rises—Desi Cooper has to decide if he’s really going to risk everything for fame.

As genderqueer writers, this story was very important to us. Oliver, a friend and an award-winning writer, was brought in to make sure that Desi remained authentic. As trans-masculine themselves, Oliver’s perspective was invaluable.

In other news, the animation script written with story help from Pixar mastermind Meg LeFauve, (Inside Out, Captain Marvel) Cambria just became a Quarterfinalist for a Screencraft Animation award. The celebration continues!
